Stylish Stylist Haidee Findlay-Levin and Her Ray-Bans
By Mickey Boardman

I was sitting next to the delightful stylist Haidee Findlay-Levin and was fascinated to see that this avant-garde and stylish lady wears Ray-Ban glasses. It reminds me of PAPER photographer Caroline Torem-Craig complaining, "I don't know why people think I dress so strangely. I just wear a black top and black pants." Those of you who know Caroline will know how funny this is. With Haidee, even a classic eyewear look has a wild style flavor!

Ray Ban Visionary Awards at Sundance
By Mickey Boardman

Mr. Mickey knows Sundance is last week's news but he just has to post about the fabulous Ray Ban Visionary Award party that happened there last week. Ray Ban honored Quentin Tarantino who made a delightful speech and proved what a fabulous freak he is. Speaking of fabulous freaks, the award was presented by Dennis Hopper! Two great tastes that taste great together.
Meanwhile, the super hip band the Bravery performed and were soooo fun (how's that for hard-hitting journalism?). My friends Dani, Emily, Erin, Greta and I all had fun choosing which band member we'd have sex with! I liked the drummer.
Anyhoo, sadly the boys didn't create such a great impression at the ski lodge where we were all staying. Mr. Mickey heard tales of belligerent drunken shenanigans from several Lodge employees! That's rock 'n' roll!

Eyewear Excitement from Milan!
By Mickey Boardman

Mr. Mickey was recently a guest at the extremely high-fashion Mido Eyewear show in Milan! MM knows all you cuties LIVE to accessorize so here is a little report on what's shaking in the world of specs!
Pictured above is the lovely Lynn Yaeger wearing Mr. Mickey's favorite frames from the entire show: Miu Miu. Isn't Miu Miu just feeling like the most fabulous brand these days? Mr. Mickey wishes he was a cute young girl so he could carry a Miu Miu bag and rock these heart shaped frames.

Booty Call: Oakley and Supreme Frogskins
By Carol Lee

I'm going to get a little shady here for a sec. It dawned on my one day that my favorite shape of shades for the summer is the classic Ray-Ban à la Risky Business. I find the oversize Jackie-O's too Nicole Richie and the Olsens, the wraparounds trés Posh Spice and the aviators, well, very Brangelina. But I didn't really want the classic Ray-Ban because that seems so cliché and also, they've been making the rounds since Chloë Sevigny was photographed rocking a pair of white Ray-Bans at the As Four show during Fashion Week a few years back -- this incident also ignited a white frame fad that was hot for a while.
Then I stumbled upon the perfect alternative. Oakley and Supreme teamed up and came up with these super-cool shades called Frogskins. They come in five Lifesaver colors -- my favorite is red (see picture) -- and only a limited edition of 2,000 pairs were made ($168). You can get them at Supreme stores and via www.supremenewyork.com and they come with a Supreme logo printed elastic band that basketball players use with their glasses which I think is a total bonus!
